After an extended stay in the hospital, Cappy, a 30+ year disabled Army Colonel who commanded battalions in Vietnam, entered his Florida home to find that it had been struck by lightning, affecting his air conditioning. Because of this, his home was a stifling 85 degrees, creating a difficult and uncomfortable recovery from the hospital. He is a dear friend of Federal Contracts Corp, so we were quick to step in and help.
After learning the situation, Paul of Sunbelt Rentals graciously agreed to partner with us in this effort, saying
“Thank you for giving my team and I the opportunity to help! This man Cappy deserves more than any of us can ever do to repay him. I am thankful that as a team, yours and mine, we were able to show him our appreciation.”
With the donation of two 1.5-ton water-cooled AC units by Sunbelt Rentals, 88-year-old Cappy was able to stay and recover in his home until the repairs to his in-home air conditioning unit could be completed.
He was so grateful for the AC unit provided by Sunbelt and the kindness shown to him throughout the process. We are very proud to work with companies like Sunbelt Rentals, and people like Paul who are as thankful for the service of our brave veterans as we are.
