Brent Mayes represented Federal Contracts Corp at the NIGP Forum in Austin, TX. Federal Contracts Corp exhibited with Ed Steinemann from Felling Trailers and David Lynes from Holder Tractor.
The NIGP Forum is the largest conference for public procurement in North America. Brent was able to meet with many government agents as well as multiple heavy equipment manufacturers, including Multiquip, Mahindra, Caterpillar, Alamo, and Grasshopper.
The NIGP Forum is a great opportunity because it places federal procurement agents and manufacturers in the same room. Here, they can communicate with each other about what they are looking for in the procurement process. Not only can manufacturers learn more about what federal agents are looking for in the equipment they purchase, but the agents can learn more about the processes they can use to procure equipment.
For Federal Contracts Corp, the Forum was a great chance for us to create relationships with federal procurement agents looking to meet the needs of the agencies they serve. Brent was able to educate many of them about the multiple procurement methods offered by Federal Contracts Corp including our GSA, DLA, and BPA Contracts.
He was also able to inform the procurement agents of the ways to reach us for their next heavy equipment need, including directly through phone or email or through the multiple procurement platforms offered like GSA Advantage, Unison, FBO, and FedConnect.
Since we have such a wide range of procurement options available to all federal agents, they are able to find the method that works best for them and their agency.
Overall, The NIGP Forum was a successful weekend for Federal Contracts Corp, Felling Trailers, and Holder Tractor. We hope to see you there next year!
