Federal Contracts Corp recently had the opportunity to contribute to the building of the next launch rocket system at NASA. The Ascent Abort 2 test flight will certify the Launch Abort System that will be used to protect astronauts on a lunar mission.
During Pathfinder operations, which are used to validate equipment operations and procedures, FCC provided Material Handling Equipment in support of operations at Kennedy Space Center Facilities and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
In addition, FCC provided custom lighting products that helped NASA perform nighttime operations to support critical spacecraft assembly/disassembly operations at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Pad SLC-46.
The NASA test flight mission is scheduled for April of 2019.
