Tampa, FlFederal Contracts Corp shows their support to Bruce Ladebu and his mission to rescue children from labor slavery and sex trafficking

While looking for a speaker to present at FCC’s year-end meeting, our president Steve Ricke reacquainted with his high school classmate – Bruce Ladebu. Upon reconciliation, he learned that Bruce started a non-profit organization called “The Children’s Rescue Initiative”.

In the early 90’s, Bruce traveled through the ex-Soviet Union countries and saw the terrible living conditions children were forced to endure and their subjection to human trafficking. He then witnessed labor slavery firsthand in 2009, which drove him to develop a strategy to rescue these individuals.

As of April 2022, Bruce and his team have rescued 2,345 children and adults from labor slavery/sex trafficking and given them a start to a new life. Bruce shared more about his non-profit organization in his presentation to FCC’s employees which brought awareness to the global human slave trade, sex trafficking, and the atrocities against children. Mr. Ladebu’s first book was published shortly after presenting to the FCC team in which a copy was acquired for each employee. Bruce is currently working on his second book about his life story.

Our CEO, Clark Ricke, was touched by Bruce’s initiative and personally sponsored a rescue mission for Bruce’s team. As a company, FCC will be sponsoring a second mission with hopes of freeing more children from the horrors of slavery. We encourage you to obtain a copy of Bruce’s book which supports his efforts and shares knowledge on the slavery and bondage that exists worldwide.
