SOFIC had Record Breaking Attendance for 2019!

Federal Contracts Corp was very excited to be a part of this years Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC). This year, there was a record-breaking attendance for a non-demonstration year with almost 13,000 in attendance from 39 different countries! The conference also broke the record for the number of exhibitors, with a total of 440.

SOFIC is the premier conference for the Special Operations Forces Community to come together and collaborate in many different areas including innovation, challenges, and capabilities. Along with capabilities demonstrations every-other year, the conference also offers educational sessions, exhibitor interaction, and networking opportunities. SOFIC brings manufacturers, agencies, and everyday users of equipment and technologies together to better create and innovate tomorrow’s Special Operations Forces products.

This year, Donny and Steve were able to represent Federal Contracts Corp Here, they met with Polaris, who supplies many of the vehicles used by SOF, as well as some of our regular agency customers including the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in Virginia Beach.

Our Contracts Specialist, Donny, next to the very popular Polaris MRZR D4.

This vehicle is lighter than preceding models and is used for missions ranging anywhere from personnel deployment to command and control missions. The MRZR D4 is diesel powered, seats 4-6 people holds 1-2 liters, and can carry up to 1,500lbs! To learn more about this model, visit our Polaris page at http://federalcontractscorp.com/partners/polaris/, or Polaris’ website at https://military.polaris.com/en-us/mrzr-d4/

Since this year was not a demonstration year, we wanted to share a video taken at last year’s demonstration. This demonstration allows everyone to see what the products created for Special Operations Forces can do and how they are used every day.
